  FEMINIST: SOMEONE WHO SUPPORTS EQUAL RIGHTS FOR WOMEN.

 Num.27.1 One day a petition was presented by

the daughters of Zelophehad--Mahlah,  Noah,

Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.Their 

father,Zelophehad, was the son of

Hepher, son of Gilead, son of Makir, son of Manasseh, son of Joseph

Num.27.2 These women went and stood before Moses, Eleazar the priest, the tribal leaders,and the entire community at the entrance of the tabernacle.

Num.27.3 "Our father died in the wilderness without leaving any sons," they said. "But he was not among Korah's followers, who rebelled against the LORD. He died because of his own sin.

Num.27.4 Why should the name of our father disappear just because he had no sons? Give us property along with the rest of our relatives."

Num.27.5 So Moses brought their case before the LORD.

Num.27.6 And the LORD replied to Moses,

Num.27.7 "The daughters of Zelophehad are right. You must give them an inheritance of landalong with their father's relatives. Assign them the property that would have been given to their father.

Num.27.8 Moreover announce this to the people of Israel: `If a man dies and has no sons,then give his inheritance to his daughters.

It's a dicey topic. Is God a FEMINIST? 

People don't want to engage in talks like this cause they believe Feminism, aside being a western construct is a morden construct as well.They feel it should not be associated with/to God.

The Bible extract above shows the people of Israel had been neglecting Women and withholding inheritances from them merely cause they were “Women".That was until the daughters of Zelophehad--Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah decided it was enough, they decided to go up to Moses and demand a change. Brave!!

Moses was the leader of Isreal, he was both their administrative as well their spiritual leader. It was within his power to give these women the inheritance they deserved, but it wasn't a norm, that’s why he told them he was going to consult God and get back to them.

What will God think of these Women's demand??

God was in-Side of women's right to own pro-per-ty!!!

He even went further to make it a law,

“Num.27.8 Moreover announce this to the people of Israel: `If a man dies and has no sons, then give his inheritance to his daughters.”

THIS here is Point 001, to attest that God was...is still a feminist. 

It also proves that FEMINISM is not a “WOKE" thing, it’s been there right from Moses.

FEMINISM is what it is. Seeking equal treatments for Women. Not withholding privileges the other gender enjoys from Women.
